We manufacture & supply numerous designs of Worm Drive (Worm Gear) Clamps. These clamps are in accordance to IS 4762 / BS 5315/1976 / DIN 3017 / SAE J 1508 standard.
These Clamps mainly consists of four components viz. the captive screw, housing, band & underlap. When the screw is turned, it acts as a worm drive pulling the threads of the band, causing the band to tighten around the hose.
These clamps are used for multiple applications viz. Automobile, Heavy engines, Irrigation, Marine, Railways, Tractors, Pneumatic connections, Electrical cable joints, Chemical, pharmaceutical and other industrial usages in India and abroad.

Features
• Due to punched slots of the band, the worm threads are engaged through and across the band thickness. This helps to arrest sliding or slipping the worm screw over the band at high torque loads
• High tensile quality of hard S.S. band the threads are extremely strong to stand stresses of high worm Screw driving torque.
• Securely spot welded position of the housing below the band is narrow and helps in distribution of uniform radial thrust all over the contact area of the clamp to the hose. Spot welding construction gives better strength than riveted construction.
• Corrosion resistant Stainless steel material for all components keeps the gear mechanism smooth and intact even after longer use.
• Batch No. for each clamp is embossed on the clamp for reverse traceability
